Matt Clarke and Louis Röhm

For Louis Röhm, a German exchange student from Reutlingen (Germany), GFN made a dream come true: He could pursue his passion in an international context, fencing in a foreign country and broadening his athletic capabilities. At the club Okanagan Feestyle Fencing, Louis had the chance to explore Canadian fencing, not only being welcomed by all athletes but also by the coach Matt Clarke, an awesome experience for him.

We from the TSG Reutlingen, Germany are very happy about this and sincerely thank GFN for these great opportunities that enable fencers to feel like home all over the world.

The idea of GFN is reality. In cooperation, the clubs TSG Reutlingen (Germany) and Oxif FFC (Greece) jointly organized a tournament in Thessaloniki, Greece, creating a platform for bilateral fencing exchange. From May 21-22.2016 German and Greek fencers could meet and fight against each other. This event represented the first step for mutual friendship between both clubs of GFN and laid the cornerstone for future collaboration.
